On 14 th of July 2022, the Himachal state cabinet during its meeting under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Jai Ram Thakur, gave approval (HP Cabinet Decision No.697/2022-PUB) for providing No Objection Certificate (NOC) for recognition of Men-Tsee-Khang Sowa-Rigpa Medical College and Hospital for grant of Bachelor of Sowa-Rigpa Medicine and Surgery course (BSRMS) under the provisions of Indian Medicine Central Council (CCIM) Regulation, 2017. Following the approval, the state government issued the NOC on the 19th of July 2022.
