On the afternoon of 30th May 2024, Dr Gagandeep, Kangra District Ayush Officer, Dharamsala paid a cordial visit to Men-Tsee-Khang Sowa-Rigpa Medical College & Hospital. Dr. Ngawang Soepa Bhutia, Principal, and College faculty members warmly welcomed him. 

Within a short period, Dr. Gagandeep interacted with the students and enquired about their nationalities, statehood, learning environments, and study materials. Further, he was also intrigued with the workings of each teaching department of the college including Principles & Fundamental, Pathology as well as Anatomy and Physiology Dept., and General Medicine of Sowa-Rigpa. On his visit to the Outpatient Department, he was pleased with the patient population and clinical services that our attached hospital renders.

While in the administration block, the Director of Me-Tsee-Khang, Mr. Thupten Tsering briefed about the Institute’s visions and current activities. Dr. Gagandeep welcomed the conduct of hands-on training of Panchkarma to our doctors and students at their district hospital and our director extended his appreciation and gratitude. Dr Gagandeep’s visits concluded with a short tour of the Pharmacy Dept. and Museum of our institute.
