A 15-day Induction Program begins for the First Professional B.S.R.M.S. Students of the 2024-2025 Academic Session

A 15-day induction program for the 1st Professional B.S.R.M.S Students of 2024-25 Academic Session began on October 1, 2024, at Men-Tsee-Khang College hall in the presence of the honorable chief guest, Dr. Tsering Norbu (MD, PhD), Cultural Director of Men-Tsee-Khang. There are a total of 8 students have been admitted for the 2024-2025 academic session to embrace their journey of learning the wisdom of Tibetan Sowa-Rigpa.

The ceremony began with the honorable chief guest lighting an auspicious butter lamp and offering of ceremonial scarf on the portrait of H.H. the XIV Dalai Lama followed by a group recitation of prayers. All attendees were served traditional Tibetan butter tea and sweet rice to mark the auspicious beginning of the fresh batch of U.G. BSRMS.

The College Principal, Dr. Ngawang Soepa Bhutia narrated a brief history of   Men-Tsee-Khang College established in 1916 in Lhasa, Tibet to its current status in exile in India. Thereafter, the honorable chief guest addressed the gathering with kind advice and guidance to the students. Later, the newly admitted students gave their self-introduction followed by a vote of thanks by the Vice-Principal Dr. Namdol Lhamo. The opening function ends with a prayer for the flourishing of Tibetan Medicine & Astro Science for the benefit of every humanity.

In the afternoon an interaction session was held between newly admitted students and faculties of the first professional year of B.S.R.M.S. The first day of the induction program started off successfully and the students look forward to the coming days with much joy and enthusiasm.
